What is The Homework Bar and Lounge?
The Homework Bar and Lounge is an after school subject tutoring and enrichment program. Its goal is to provide students with an opportunity to either fortify their current knowledge or to challenge them with new, exciting, and enhancing ideas. We provide our students with the necessary skills to uncover their own passion for learning and academic prowess. With encouragement and belief in themselves a student is able seek and find their path to achievement and success. We integrate our Strive2Speak method of speech fluency into every tutoring session. Whether our students are being coached in mathematics, english, science, or history they are also being taught public speaking skills that will propel them to the head of their class and prepare them for the future.
Our Team
Our team is comprised of passionate, experienced, knowledgable, and patient educators. Knowing the subject-matter well, is only a partial expectation to be part of our team. The ability to articulate ones thoughts clearly and concisely is the other essential and necessary skill. We aim to create a comfortable and a learning-conducive environment for our students. All faculty are experienced educators who have undergone background checks, as required by the State of Pennsylvania.
